Yes…isn’t life strange!on October 30th, 2012
I was just sitting in the restaurant of the Ibis hotel here inIstanbul, thinking how strange everything is! A few hours ago I was in the little house on the hill in Spain, wondering if I’d turned the gas off, and now here I am about to join the all inclusive Regent Seven Seas Voyager for a 6 week trip ending in Singapore – taking in Israel, the Pyramids, The Suez Canal, Petra, Dubai and a few stops in India (just missing the Test Match I’m sorry to say) etc before we reach our destination, a flight home and a 6 day turn-around before heading to the UK for Christmas!!
There is, of course, the small matter of delivering a series of talks – about 20 in all!, and possibly a few cabaret sessions, and hopefully maintain the standard that means I might be asked back again! (Actually I’m booked up to the end of July 2014 – yes 2014!!
Julie joins the ship in Safaga – Egypt after a 24 hour trip from Exeter….and she will be doing some card making classes….and who knows we might even be putting on the production of Julius Caesar – a play wot I wrote – for the guests to perform! Happy days…
And so to work….a six week cruise – all inclusive, followed by a 6 weeks de-tox!
